Kittrell College has the heart of an HBCU and a family of schools to share it with! Latta University (Coming Soon) and Kittrell College are sister institutions! Both institutions are also part of The Collegiate Collaborative, which is a consortium of schools. 

These institutions have united to form a powerful and revolutionary educational dynasty. Kittrell College, is reborn and restructured so that it will supersede the legacy it lost decades ago. It is the two-year trade school and religious institution that will empower and educate multitudes. 

What is the New Kittrell College! 

The new Kittrell College (KC) has returned to the educational structure once utilized by the now-dissolved, original Kittrell College (founded in 1886 in Kittrell, North Carolina). The new Kittrell College has a strong, innovative infrastructure and campus created by our president, Dr. Stephanie Freeman. Today’s Kittrell College is established on Community, Innovation, Theology, Technology, Dignity, and Education (CITTDE--pronounced "Cit-De").  

We are not reunited with our HBCU family yet, but we are working on it! 

As we work to be reconnected with the HBCU family, we can still celebrate with HBCU spirit and pride!  Our homecomings will be epic fun! You will enjoy the HBCU culture and its unique characteristics.  

Students who receive their Associate’s Degree from Kittrell College are automatically eligible to continue their education at Latta University--a cutting-edge, skill and project-based, vocational institution.  

Latta University is a four-year institution. Latta University (which is still under construction) is the natural continuation of Kittrell College’s programs, but students are welcome to combine vocational training and liberal arts education to form a unique degree program that is second to none.
